Labeling - Including Dynamic Zoom
Concept: The purpose of this exercise is to use the automatic labeling function within ArcMap; therefore the results must be more than just turning on and off labels manually. The automatic labeling function is much like the automatic zooming which turns on and off layers. The labeling function is accessed through the property window.

Data: You may use any two data sources that represent the same geographical area. You should make sure the data source has a field which can be used to name the structure. For example if you have a state county map, the labels should be the names of the counties.

Requirements: Send a map package to your instructor. You should have at least two shapefiles and they should have different zoom levels in which a layers label turns on and off.
Grading: The map package sent will be graded on how well the labels look on the map and if they are programmed to turn on and off appropriately.
