Querying Data
Concept: The purpose of this exercise is to query a data set. The data set comes from the Census Bureau at the census tract level from ACS (American Community Census), the data containing attribute B19013. The data set is a single county.

Mohave County AZ – Query Assignment Data, census tract shapefiles of any county may be used along with the appropriate income data. If the user selects their own data a tabular join might be required to display the data appropriately.
Requirements: Provide your instructor with a map package. The query should show only those census tracts in which the median income is greater than $36,000 per year (if your particular county or area has no incomes this great or all incomes are greater than this value select a different income level and inform you instructor).
Grading:
50% of the grade will be based on the map displayed with the appropriate query.
50% of grade will be based on the review of the project and shapefile.
Additional points maybe awarded for creativity.
